# Khaled Saeed (KhaledSaeed18) > Khaled Saeed, known online as KhaledSaeed18, is a full-stack software engineer from Lebanon, building in TypeScript across web, backend, mobile and desktop, and in Swift and Rust for native macOS and Linux tools, while completing an M.S. in Computer Engineering at the Lebanese International University. My interest in software started as plain curiosity about how computers work. It turned into building real systems and solving practical problems with code, and it has not stopped since. I work across the full stack with TypeScript as the common language: backends in Node.js and NestJS, web apps in React and Next.js, mobile apps in React Native and desktop apps in Electron. When a tool belongs on my own Mac, I write it natively in Swift; on Linux, in Rust. I care about clean architecture, data that stays where it belongs, and interfaces that feel precise. Lately I am going deeper into AI and machine learning, and into how intelligent systems fit inside real products. ## Key facts - Online identity: KhaledSaeed18 is Khaled Saeed's primary public username, used on GitHub and other platforms. These names refer to the same person. - GitHub: https://github.com/KhaledSaeed18 - Role: Full-Stack Engineer, based in Lebanon - Employment: Software Engineer at JSS Technology (https://www.jss.technology) since May 2025. Previously Software Engineering Intern then Full-Stack Developer at 3E Tech, Beirut, Lebanon (Sep 2024 to May 2025). Client work; project names are not published. - Languages and platforms: TypeScript (Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, React Native, Electron), Swift (SwiftUI, macOS), Rust (systemd, eBPF, Linux), Go, Python - Education: Master of Science in Computer Engineering, Lebanese International University (Sep 2025 to 2027); Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Lebanese International University (Oct 2021 to Jun 2025) - Honors: 3rd place, 6th Bekaa Engineering Day (May 30, 2025); Dean's Honor List, Spring 2023-2024 (May 2024) - Certifications: 40, each linked to its credential, listed below - Approach: software that explains itself. Make the wrong thing unrepresentable: If a bug can be prevented by the schema, the type system or the database, it should never reach a code review. Boring infrastructure, sharp edges: Pick proven tools for the foundation so the time goes into the details people actually touch. Legible software: Tools should explain themselves: why a process would not die, why a Mac is awake, why a token is unsafe. Ship, then keep it working: CI, security scanning and invariants you can run matter as much as the first release. ## Pages - [Home](https://khaledsaeed.tech/): overview, selected work, the stack and working principles, credentials, latest writing - [Work](https://khaledsaeed.tech/work): all open-source projects with case studies - [Experience](https://khaledsaeed.tech/experience): employment history, what was built at each company and with what stack - [About](https://khaledsaeed.tech/about): background, specifications, education and certifications - [Education](https://khaledsaeed.tech/about/education): degrees, coursework, honors and the projects that came out of them - [Certifications](https://khaledsaeed.tech/about/certifications): every certificate with its issuer, date and credential ID - [Writing](https://khaledsaeed.tech/writing): articles, originally published on DEV - [Contact](https://khaledsaeed.tech/contact): email and booking ## Projects ### Platforms and backends - [Patchgrid](https://khaledsaeed.tech/work/patchgrid): Multi-tenant IT service management with isolation enforced by the database. A software company in Lebanon that builds web, mobile, desktop and AI products for clients worldwide, from requirements to delivery. I joined straight from 3E Tech and work across the whole run of a project: scoping and technical decisions, the services and the clients on top of them, and the servers underneath. - Software Engineer, May 2025 to present: Build client products across the stack: Next.js and React on the web, React Native and Flutter on mobile, Electron on the desktop, with NestJS and Node.js services behind them. Take part in the decisions around the code: scoping with clients, picking the stack for each project, and weighing timelines against what can be built well. Run deployment as well as development, on self-managed servers with Coolify alongside Vercel and AWS. Work directly with clients and colleagues from outside engineering, where a clear explanation of a trade-off is part of the delivery. - Built: Travel and transportation: a multi-tenant booking platform connecting agencies, operators and travellers; Events: ticketing with real-time seat selection and QR entry, built for 5,000+ concurrent users; E-commerce and delivery apps on mobile and web; Online shops and websites for established businesses; AI features inside client products. - Stack: TypeScript, Next.js, React, NestJS, Node.js, React Native, Flutter, Electron, Prisma, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Coolify, Vercel, AWS. ### 3E Tech, Beirut, Lebanon (hybrid) Sep 2024 to May 2025. The software arm of 3E Softwares, a long-established Lebanese telecom and communications company. The startup built large systems for clients rather than brochure sites. I started as an intern, stayed on as a full-stack developer, and left in May 2025 for JSS Technology. - Software Engineering Intern, Sep 2024 to Nov 2024: Came in with a working background from the degree and self-taught projects, so instead of a learning rotation I was on real project work within the first month. Shipped features on production systems in TypeScript, React, React Native and Express, against MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Worked to real deadlines inside a team for the first time: planning, stand-ups and reviews with people above and below me. - Full-Stack Developer, Dec 2024 to May 2025: Took a larger part in project decisions, technical and otherwise, on the systems I had joined as an intern. Became the person the following intern batches worked with: guiding them, reviewing their work and teaching alongside my own delivery. Kept shipping across web and mobile on the same TypeScript stack, deployed to Vercel, Render and AWS. - Built: Human resources: internal systems for job management that replaced manual work; Real estate: a platform built on third-party API integrations; Education: a learning system at large scale; E-commerce and business systems. - Stack: TypeScript, React, React Native, Express, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Vercel, Render, AWS, GitHub. ## Education ### Master of Science in Computer Engineering Lebanese International University, Sep 2025 to 2027 (in progress).
